Here we have an unassuming little Lotus Evora, in a nice red dress.
What if the body panels were replaced, and given a set from the still-born Ferrari-kyboshed neo-Stratos?
Elise/Exige might be closer to the 2-seater size, but don't have the glasshouse looks in common with the starts that Evora is closer to.
It is a MR-Transverse V6... like the original. It is a little bit bigger than the original stratos, but the length makes it sleeker.
It has the deeply curved windshield and upswept side window graphic... although on a quarter window, rather than the door glass itself.
It could wear a forward swept roof wing, wrapped down to the rear fenders.
I think with some replacement bodywork that replicates the prominent continual shoulder line, and the chisel-like front end... I think an Evora based car could look like the neo-Stratos, in Alitalia livery, or other color of choice.

Obligatory response to my own idea...
A Lotus with a Toyota drivetrain trying to impersonate a Lancia with a Ferrari drivetrain. :D
